Baltic Green Amber Flower Pendant & Earring Set

Baltic amber has a story that goes back millions of years. It began as resin from ancient forests in the Baltic region of northern Europe, slowly hardening and changing over time until it became the amber we know today.

We found this green Baltic amber at the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show and loved the earthy olive-green color and all the natural texture you can see inside the stones. Green amber gets its color from organic material and other natural inclusions within the amber, giving each piece its own slightly different look.

This matching pendant and earring set pairs round Baltic amber cabochons with detailed sterling silver flowers. The silver has an oxidized finish that settles into all those tiny details and gives the flowers an older, almost antique feel while letting the green amber stay at the center of the design.
